<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device including an organic EL element emitting light uniformly over the entire light-emitting plane. <P>SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 includes an organic EL panel 10 including a light-emitting layer 150 between a first electrode 130 and a second electrode 140, a power source 30, a power source switching part 50, a control circuit 20, and a plurality of power source supply parts connected to the first electrode 130. The control circuit 20 controls the power source switching part 50 so that a first power source supply part 81 among the power source supply parts is connected to the power source and a second power source supply part 82 is not connected to the power source. The power source supply part for supplying power to the first electrode 130 is sequentially switched at high speed; therefore, a user feels as if the illumination device 1 emits light uniformly in a planar manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
