<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hindrance to smooth screwing-in by chips and the occurrence of a crack in a base material, even if a large quantity of chips are generated and gathered in a kerf part, by arranging a recess place so that the chips gathered in the kerf part are not shut in. <P>SOLUTION: This screw 1 is provided for fastening an installation member 11 on the base material 10 while forming a screw hole in the base material 10, and includes a shaft part 2 penetrating through the installation member 11, and a head part 3 integrally formed with the shaft part 2 and pressed on the installation member 11. A threading blade part 4 formed of a spiral thread 43 and a screw groove 44 between the threads 43 and the kerf part 5 of cutting out the threading blade part 4 along the shaft length direction, are formed on an outer peripheral surface near a tip part of the shaft part 2. A chip receiving part 6 communicating with the kerf part 5 and becoming the recess place of the chips gathered in the kerf part 5, is arranged between the threading blade part 4 of the shaft part 2 and the head part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
