<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove in which a space between the downstream end of a mixing pipe and an opening for a burner is reliably closed for improved appearance and high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The gas cooking stove includes a closing plate 11 for closing the entire circumference of an annular space provided between the external wall of the downstream end of the mixing pipe 8 and the edge of the opening 9 for a burner.
