摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor failure determining technology for properly determining a failure of a stroke sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A first monitoring part 102 monitors a first output voltage of a first non-contact stroke sensor 46a. A second monitoring part 104 monitors a second output voltage of a second non-contact stroke sensor 46b. A failure determining part 122 receives a result of monitoring and determines whether a failure occurs in the first stroke sensor 46a or the second stroke sensor 46b. A determination control part 124 controls execution of determination processing of the failure determining part 122. In the first monitoring part 102, an upper limit monitoring voltage V1 to be monitored is set. A first voltage determination part 126 determines whether the first output voltage is likely to reach or exceed the upper limit monitoring voltage V1.
