<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf board supporting device for supporting a shelf board and a fall prevention member. <P>SOLUTION: The shelf board supporting device 5 includes a shelf board supporting portion 26 for supporting the shelf board 7, and a fall prevention member supporting portion 27 for supporting the fall prevention member 8 for preventing an article on the shelf board 7 from falling. The shelf board supporting device 5 includes an inserted shaft portion inserted into a hole portion 3a of a side plate 3 of a shelf body 2.
