<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video camera capable of preventing consumption and deterioration of a mechanical portion for automatically controlling a monitor camera. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 12 includes an electronic shutter. An iris motor 34 is iris control means for varying an aperture diameter. A video camera is connected with a PC 42 that is a client via a network. If access from the client occurs, auto-iris control is performed using an electronic shutter and the iris control means. If no access from the client occurs, a pause mode for adjusting brightness of incident light to the imaging device 12 using only the electronic shutter, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
