<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveillance camera system which allows for reduction in preset man-hours of IP address, reduction in man-hours required for selecting a specific camera at the installation site, prevention of incorrect installation of a camera, and reduction in set man-hours at the site after installation of the camera. <P>SOLUTION: In the network type surveillance camera system, an installed camera comprises means for automatically acquiring its own location information, means for imparting an address automatically to a camera connected with a network, means for acquiring the location information from each camera and automatically generating a database in conjunction with the address, and means for performing parameter setting automatically for each camera determined for each installation site. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
