<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device which can be made compact. <P>SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging device comprises photodiodes 1 arranged two-dimensionally, a pixel region 22 provided with a vertical CCD that transfers signal charges read out from the photodiodes 1 in the vertical direction, a transfer channel 4, a horizontal CCD having transfer electrodes 5 and 6 and transferring signal charges transferred from the vertical CCD in the horizontal direction by applying different voltages to the transfer electrodes 5 and 6, and wiring 10 connected with any one of the transfer electrodes 5 and 6 and provided above the transfer channel 4 to shade the transfer channel 4 from the light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
