<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sealing properties between a cylinder head and a muffler head while suppressing the deformation of the cylinder head. <P>SOLUTION: A two-step compressor (10) includes a lower step side compressing mechanism (42) having a lower step side cylinder (43), an upper step side compressing mechanism (45), a driving shaft (20) further compresses middle pressure refrigerant compressed in the lower step side compressing mechanism (42) in the upper step side compressing mechanism (45). The two-step compressor also includes an annular rear head (34) which closes the end face of the lower step side cylinder (43) and through which the driving shaft (20) passes, an annular cover plate (35) arranged in the rear head (34) and forming a muffler (36) into which the middle pressure refrigerant discharged from the lower step side compressing mechanism (42) flows, and a labyrinth groove (39) formed in a gap between the inner peripheral part of the cover plate (35) and the inner peripheral part of the rear head (34). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
