PURPOSE: A location controlling system for a scanner is provided to accurately detect each location, thereby providing high precision of angle resolution and drift. CONSTITUTION: At least one optical sensor support unit(130) is formed on a fixing unit(160). The optical sensor support unit is extended in a shaft direction of a rotation portion(150). An optical sensor(120) is formed on a surrounding circumference of the optical sensor support unit. An optical partition(110) is formed on the rotation portion. At least one light irradiating unit(100) horizontally irradiates uniform light. When the rotation portion rotates, the optical partition moves. Therefore, the amount of light for the optical sensor is controlled.
