<p>The assembly has an expanding element (120) e.g. screw, for insertion into an expanding element retainer (118) such that an engagement portion (108) is inserted into modules e.g. furniture pieces. Another engagement portion (114) is strutted in the modules. The modules are detachably connected with each other by a connector (100). Length (L) of the connector is small than length of the modules along an insertion direction of the connector in recesses e.g. sliding dovetails. The expanding element retainer extends into a gap (104) for retaining the expanding element. An independent claim is also included for a method for connecting modules by a connector.</p> |
