<p>A heat exchanger tube (700) is disclosed wherein a tubular body (702) defined by a wall having an exterior surface (704), an interior surface (706) and a conduit is provided. A plurality of ovular indentations (718) is formed in the wall extending from the exterior surface (704) and protruding through the interior surface (706) of the wall. The heat exchanger tube (700) enables in enhancement of heat transfer efficiency and operates efficiently over a wide range of Reynolds number with lower frictional losses. Further, the heat exchanger tube (700) is cost effective and economical to operation.</p> |
