<p>Cutting a sheet-or plate-shaped object (1), preferably made of electrodes and/or separators, for producing an electrochemical energy storage device or parts of such electrodes or separators, comprises (i) introducing the object to be cut, into a laser cutting device (2), (ii) cutting of the objects using the laser cutting device, and (iii) carrying out machining operations at the cutting edges (3), for reducing micro-short circuit. INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a system for cutting sheet-or plate-shaped object, preferably for cutting electrodes and/or separators, comprising (a) a conveying device (5) for conveying the objects to be cut, into a laser cutting device, (b) a laser cutting device, for cutting the objects, and (c) a laser processing device (4) for carrying out machining operations at the cutting edges, for reducing micro-short circuits.</p> |
