The arrangement has a rim (8) for axial run-up of rollers (4) or a cage (5) that guides the rollers of a roller bearing (1). A retainer (9) is formed to receive the rim in a form-fit manner and support the rim in an axial direction. The rim has a coupling region comprising free end portions of the rim in a circumferential direction. The rim has contact surfaces (11) for the rollers, enclosed in the circumferential direction and/or contacting the free end portions. The free end portions are directly coupled with each other in the coupling region. An independent claim is also included for a roller bearing comprising rollers.
