<p>The present invention discloses a handover control method, apparatus, and system. In an embodiment of the present invention, an access gateway controls, according to a pre-acquired handover control parameter, the handover of a user equipment from a source access point to a target access point. Through the implementation of the handover control by the access gateway, the load of a core network device is lowered, so that the system operates more steadily, signaling exchanges between the access gateway and a core network is decreased, and the bandwidth is saved.</p> |
