The method involves constructing two parallelepiped-shaped drain filling structures (4) that are contacted at two opposed sides, by a continuous workflow. A trench element (3) is provided by introducing the drain filling structures into the trench element, such that the trench element is filled with the drain filling structures. The trench element is provided by a milling process, a plow process, excavation process or by the combination of the processes. An independent claim is included for linearly extended trench.
