<p>A modular unit consisting of a pump housing 11 and a controller housing 16 which are connected to one another is characterised in that, for the purpose of connecting the pump housing 11 to the controller housing 16, the pump housing 11) has at least one aperture 12 with a recess 14, and said controller housing 16 has at least one latching nose 17 which is latched in at the recess 14. The latching nose 17 may be conical in a front portion 18, thereof and may be injection-molded onto the controller housing 16. The aperture 12 is preferably drilled and the recess 14 may be formed by a punch (13, fig 2). A hardening wet seal (15, fig 5) may be arranged between the pump housing 11 and the controller housing 16. The modular unit may be used in a vehicle braking system.</p> |
