<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel circuit correcting the influence of the threshold voltage and the mobility of a drive transistor at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: A correcting means is connected with a drive transistor Tr2 and a capacitor part Cs1 to be operated in a correction period set prior to a sampling period. The correction period is divided into a reset period and a detection period. In the reset period, the correcting means energizes the capacitor part Cs1 for resetting its potential. In the detection period, the correcting means blocks the energization for sensing a potential difference between a source S and a gate G of the drive transistor Tr2 while a transient current Iref flows in the drive transistor Tr2. The capacitor part Cs1 maintains the potential corresponding to the sensed potential difference. It includes: the amount for diminishing the influence of the threshold voltage corresponding to the output current of the drive transistor Tr2; and the amount for diminishing the influence of the carrier mobility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
