<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control power from each of a plurality of power supplies constituting a power converter (motor driven system) arbitrarily while reducing loss, size and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The control method of a power converter (30) generating a pulsating voltage for driving an AC motor (20) comprises a step for generating a pulsating voltage by connecting the output terminal of each phase of the motor selectively with any one of output sections of three or more potentials including a common potential contained in a DC voltage source and performing on/off pulse width control, a step for detecting the motor current in the zero vector entire section where switching means connecting any one of the output sections of DC voltage supply and all output terminals are entirely turned on or off, a step (400) for selecting the longest zero vector section out of the zero vector entire section, and a step (40) for controlling the AC motor by using a current value detected in the selected section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
