The device has a driving rod (6) guided into a face plate rail (5) in a longitudinally displaced manner, and an adapter profile (9) mounted at a profile groove (8). The adapter profile has a form-fit connection with the face plate rail, and a form-fit connection with the face plate rail is secured against detachment at a state inserted into the profile groove of the adapter profile. The adapter profile has an accommodation trough (10) such that the form-fit connection of the face plate rail is arranged in an inner side of the accommodation trough. The adapter profile is made of plastic.
