The method involves reducing outer dimension of an outer circumferential region of a brake disk pot (14) by uniform large mechanical forces into force guiding regions of the brake disk pot. The brake disk pot is positioned in a support opening of a friction ring (12). The brake disk pot is joined with the friction ring by forming press fit between the outer circumferential region of the brake disk pot and an inner circumferential region of the friction ring by ending introduction of the mechanical forces into the force guiding regions of the brake disk pot.
