<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for sending a current through electrolytic solution, capable of removing generated bubbles. <P>SOLUTION: This electrode 10 is equipped with an electrode layer 11, and an insulating layer 12 provided thereunder. The electrode layer 11 is provided with a gap penetrating the electrode layer 11, and the insulating layer 12 comprises a porous material. Hereby, bubbles generated in the electrode layer 11 when sending the current through the electrolytic solution can be moved to the insulating layer 12 through the gap, and since the insulating layer 12 can absorb the moved bubbles, the generated bubbles can be removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
