The method involves automatic switching of air conditioner in off condition on detection of operating- or environmental data. The air conditioner in off condition is switched in on activation of a windshield wiper (SW), when a rear window heater (HH) and a front window heater (FH) are not activated. The air conditioner in off condition is switched in at certain environment temperature and moderated solar radiation.
