PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting sight is provided to guide upright reading habit by alarming as sound or vibration if eyeballs and a book come close below a constant distance. CONSTITUTION: A main body(4) is closely attached to a forehead and a distance detecting sensor is mounted at a predetermined underside part of an apparatus for protecting sight. A distance detecting part operational button(12) and an luminance button(10) are mounted on a predetermined front part of the main body to operate the distance detecting sensor. Supports(6) are mounted on both ends of the main body and are adhered to a lateral head of a user. A head holding string(8) is coupled to the end of both supports so that the main body can be adhered to the head of the user by using elasticity. If the detected distance of the distance detecting sensor is below a constant distance, an alarm signal generator generates alarms. |
