PURPOSE: An optical diffusing sheet for an LCD backlight unit is provided to prevent wear and scratch due to friction and flow between sheets when an LCD backlight moves after assembly. CONSTITUTION: An optical diffusing sheet for an LCD backlight unit comprises a transparent polyester base film(3) and an optical diffusing layer. The base film is coated by using a coating solution in which a coating liquid containing 0.5-1.0 wt.% of slip property material is added in a coating liquid mixing binder resin and different diameter particles.
