PURPOSE: A turn table of a spindle motor and the spindle motor with the same are provided to reduce a contact area between an optical disc and a disc inserting unit, thereby arranging the optical disc on a fixed location of a turn table. CONSTITUTION: A body(262) is coupled with a rotating shaft. A disc inserting unit(264) protrudes from the body. The inner circumference of a disc is inserted into the disk inserting unit. Claws(266) are formed on a surface of the disk inserting unit. The claws flexibly support the inner circumference of the disc. At least one contact area reducing unit(265) is formed on the surface of the disc inserting unit. At least one contact area reducing unit reduces the contact area with the disc. |
