PURPOSE: A coating trailer for a rail is provided to coat the surface of a rail installed on a railroad without the dismantlement of the rail. CONSTITUTION: A coating trailer for a rail comprises a railroad trailer(10) and a thermal spray coating device(20). The railroad trailer has a bogie(11) installed on a rail(1) to be moved along the rail. The thermal spray coating device is installed on the railroad trailer and comprises a spray gun(21) and a robot arm(22). The spray gun sprays a coating material on the surface of the rail. The robot arm is connected to the spray gun and controls the position and spray direction of the spray gun.
