PURPOSE: A method for producing biodiesel using chlorella vulgaris CV-18 is provided to enhance lipid content and biodiesel productivity. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing biodiesel comprises: a step of culturing chlorella vulgaris AG10032 and treating with ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS) to induce mutation; and a step of culturing mutated chlorella vulgaris and extracting lipid and fatty acid from culture liquid. The chlorella vulgaris is chlorella CV-18(KCTC 11776BP). The fatty acid has oleic acid(C18:1) and linoleic acid(C18:2).
