PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing a slag carriage from being stuck is provided to secure smooth operation of a slag carriage by preventing hot slag adhering to the periphery of the slag carriage and a rail. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing a slag carriage(10) from being stuck comprises a pair of supporting frames(40), a driving unit(20), and a radiating plate(30). The pair of supporting frames are fixed so that molten slag approaches both sides of a part avoiding the slag carriage from an electric converter(2). The driving unit is supported on the pair of supporting frames. The radiating plate is moved to the top of a pot(4) of the slag carriage according to the operation of the driving unit.
