PURPOSE: An air cavity ship having a hinge type air chamber is provided to change angles of an air chamber by rotating a hinge type air chamber according to sailing conditions of a ship, thereby actively coping with ever-changing sailing conditions. CONSTITUTION: An air cavity ship has an air chamber forming in a flat plane at the bottom of a ship. The air chamber comprises a fixed air chamber(110) fixed in a hull and a hinge type air chamber(120). The hinge type air chamber is hinge-coupled to the rear end of the fixed air chamber to have rotatable structure. The hinge type air chamber is rotated around a hinge shaft by a rotating device arranged in the hull.
