PURPOSE: A connector for connecting a flat cable is provided to prevent an actuator from being separated from an insulator housing even though the actuator is repetitively used. CONSTITUTION: Protrusion portions(131) are formed on both ends of an actuator(130). The actuator is installed in an insulating housing(110). The actuator pressurizes a contact(120) when the actuator is switched from an open state to a close state. The actuator fixes a flat cable(1) onto the contact. A hold down(140) supports the protrusion portions.
