PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for detecting a bot process are provided to easily protect attack traffic generated in a user terminal by easily detect a bot process. CONSTITUTION: A network monitor(110) monitors whether there is packet in a user terminal. An API monitor(120) monitors a call of an API in the user terminal. A user interaction monitor(130) monitors whether there is user interaction information of the user terminal. A bot process detecting unit(150) detects a packet managing process in the bot process. The bot process detecting unit blocks the execution of the detected bot process.
