PURPOSE: A water treatment apparatus for a ship and a method thereof are provided to reuse a large amount of condensate generating from an air handling unit of a ship. CONSTITUTION: A water treatment apparatus for a ship comprises a filter(124), a pH measuring device(126), and flow control valves(128a,128b). The filter filters condensate collected through a condensate pipe. The pH measuring device measures pH of the filtered condensate. In response to signals of the pH measuring device, the flow control valves control so that the measured condensate can be distributed and selectively flowed into predetermined tanks according to used purpose.
