PURPOSE: A metal surface treatment method using pulse plasma is provided to exclude preheating and pretreatment of a metal part by partially strengthening a work surface of the metal part. CONSTITUTION: A metal surface treatment method using pulse plasma is as follows. A thermo-chemical process and a pulse plasma process are integrated into a single cycle and coupled with plasma jet(70) in different magnetic fields(90). The different magnetic fields are created as a fuel-gas mixture is exploded in a product located in a gap between a plasmatron electrode, an erosion electrode, a tapered surface of a plasmatron nozzle, and a shock compression plasma layer on a metal part surface(60) and current pulse is emitted from the product.
