PURPOSE: A monitoring method for a power generation apparatus is provided to monitor a state of the power generation apparatus in a remote site by sending an SMS text message which includes power generation apparatus state information to an administrator. CONSTITUTION: A power generation apparatus is monitored by receiving a setting value through a key input unit(S10). Temperature, humidity, current, and voltage measurement values of the power generation apparatus is compared with the setting value stored in a storage part(S20). An SMS text message is sent to an administrator when a malfunction signal is created(S30). A response message reception state for a predetermined time is determined(S40). The power generation apparatus is switched according to a received response message(S50).
