CARBON DIOXIDE RE-LIQUEFACTION PROCESS

PURPOSE: A carbon dioxide re-liquefaction process is provided to compress, condense, and expand refrigerants without a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: A carbon dioxide re-liquefaction process comprises next steps: compressing carbon dioxide stream; Heat exchanging at least a part of carbon dioxide stream with carbon dioxide stream at a heat-exchange region; cooling the carbon dioxide stream; lowering temperature by expanding at least a part of carbon dioxide stream; separating the carbon dioxide stream into a first sub-stream in a gas phase and a second sub-stream in a liquid phase; expanding at least a part of the first sub-stream by using an expanding tool(731); providing carbon dioxide stream evaporated from a tank to a compression step after going through a first heat exchange region.
