PURPOSE: A positive electrode active material is provided to have high conductivity, thereby providing a lithium secondary battery with excellent charging/discharging performance and capacity. CONSTITUTION: A positive electrode active material comprises an olivine type composite oxide, and a metal material bonded to the surface of the olivine type composite oxide. The metal material is selected from a group consisting of Ge, Zn, Ga, and combinations thereof. A manufacturing method of the positive electrode active material comprises: a step of mixing metal oxide into an olivine-type composite oxide precursor; and a step of plasticizing the mixture. The metal oxide is reduced too metal at 600-800 °C. |
