PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and an array substrate thereof are provided to reduce electrical impacts applied to a driving IC due to static electricity, thereby reducing defects in a product. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines(115) vertically cross data lines(114) on an image area(101) of the main body(110a) of an array substrate(110). The gate lines receive scan signals. The data lines receive data signals. A thin film transistor and a pixel electrode(116) connected to the thin film transistor are arranged on the area where the gate lines vertically cross data lines. The thin film transistor applies a voltage to the pixel electrode if the scan signal and the data signal are applied respectively.
