<p>The method involves detecting presence of an event triggering capture of a panoramic reference image by an image capturing unit along a direction of the event. The image is transmitted to a remote station through video streams. The video stream is initially modified by integration of reference elements adapted to scenic contents of each image in order to identify causes of the event. Displacement of cause of the event is automatically tracked by the image capturing unit. An independent claim is also included for a system for monitoring sites in a vision field of an image capturing unit connected to a remote station.</p> |
