The invention relates to a palate expander device with front and rear adjustment, said device comprising a rectangular central guide plate (2) provided with two guides (3) arranged on two opposing sides of the plate, aligning with the front and rear portion of the palate. In addition, two slides (4) are coupled to the aforementioned guides and said slides are in turn mounted on an adjustment screw (5) having threaded ends, one right-hand thread (6) and one left-hand thread (6'). The central guide plate (2) includes two of the aforementioned adjustment screws (5), one in each of the guides thereof (3) with two slides (4) mounted on each screw, each slide (4) being connected to the end of an actuator wire (13). The adjustment screws (5) are provided with means for attachment to the central guide plate (2), and means for rotating same. |
