In an automatic audio-visual cine projector, of the multiple film, coin-freed type, feedreels 2 are carried on a rotating drum 1 each film 4 being fixed to the hub of a reel 2 at one end, and having the other end free and clamped between members (16), (21) of a cap (13) having an inner cavity (20) as in Fig.2 (not shown) to receive the end of a swinging arm 5 which conveys the selected film end to take-up reel 3. Laterally extending pins on cap 13 are engaged by two camming slots in the flanges of reel 3. The film end to which cap 13 is attached may be reinforced by a phosphorbronze plate. |
