HEAVY DUTY PNEUMATIC TIRE

PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire for heavy loads is provided to keep water drain functions and reduce stone jams on a tire surface. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire(1) for heavy loads comprises one or more center major grooves(3). The center major grooves are expanded in the center area(Cr) of the circumference of a tire in a zigzag shape. The center major groove comprises a groove bottom and a groove wall. The groove wall is extended to a tread surface from the groove bottom. The groove wall comprises a steep slope portion toward the groove bottom side and a mild slope portion toward a tread surface side. The mild slope portion toward the tread surface side is expanded to the tread surface from the outside of the tire radius direction of the steep slope portion of the groove bottom side with a larger angle than the angle of the steep slope portion toward the groove bottom side.
