A method for sending location information and device thereof are provided by the embodiment of the present invention. The method for sending location information includes the following steps: determining a location sub-frame for sending a location reference signal; sending the location reference signal according to the location sub-frame. In the embodiment of this invention, sending the location reference signal according to the location sub-frame can ensure that synchronization channel (SCH) and/or broadcast channel (BCH) are sent normally, and the sending of the location sub-frame does not affect the performance for detecting SCH and/or BCH. |
