The container (10) has a load maintaining unit (22) comprising a pair of uprights, where one upright is arranged near a wall (12), and another upright (24B) is arranged near another wall opposite to the former upright. Each upright comprises a support unit that supports an end of a maintaining crosspiece (28). The maintaining crosspiece comprises an end (30A) carried by the former upright and another end (30B) carried by the latter upright so as to transversely extend in the container. A variation unit of the maintaining crosspiece varies length of the cross-piece.
