PURPOSE: A fixing member for a backlight unit and a backlight unit with the same are provided to have diffusion container patches or diffusion beads and make a fixing head of a fixing member to have protrusion structures, thereby reducing hot spots. CONSTITUTION: A fixing head has a planar support portion. Support portions(220) protrude toward a lower part of the fixing head. A fixing grip portion(230) is formed on an end of the support portion. At least one support portion is integrated with a lower surface of the planar support portion. The support portions have an elastic inclined angle against the planar support portion.
