PURPOSE: An earthquake-proof device for a construction structure is provided to effectively absorb and reduce vibrations caused by seismic waves without the structural reinforcement of a reinforcing frame. CONSTITUTION: An earthquake-proof device(10) for a construction structure comprises a slide moving unit(16), a lower cylinder, an air tube(20), an upper cylinder(22), an elastic support member(24), a saddle(100), saddle stoppers(102), saddle guides(104a, 104b), reciprocating hydraulic cylinders(105), and an opening and closing unit(200). The slide moving unit has upper and lower plates(12, 14) which overlap each other. The lower cylinder is fixed to the top of the slide moving unit. The air tube is formed inside the lower cylinder. The upper cylinder is placed on the air tube and is coupled to the lower cylinder. The elastic support member is fixed to the top of the upper cylinder. The saddle is placed on the top of the elastic support member. The saddle stoppers are formed on both sides of the saddle. The saddle guides guide the saddle. The reciprocating hydraulic cylinders horizontally move the saddle guides. The opening and closing unit operates the saddle stoppers.
