PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in an inverter control device that when wide angle control for expanding an energization angle to 120 degrees or more or spark advance control for advancing a voltage phase with respect to the phase of an induction voltage induced in a stator of a brushless DC motor is exerted, a non-conduction angle produces 30 degrees of electric angle, causing the inverter to become unable to sufficiently output a desired voltage and have its DC voltage utilization rate dropped slightly, which resulted in that the terminal voltage of the brushless DC motor is slightly reduced and becomes slightly narrower than desired for an operation range.
SOLUTION: Control is exerted in such a way that at least once in one cycle of mechanical angle of a brushless DC motor, an energization angle is commutated prior to the zero-cross point of an induction voltage based on a calculated value which is calculated from a detection value acquired in the past, and not using the zero-cross point of an induction voltage detected by position detection means 208. By so doing, a non-conduction angle is restricted to less than 30 degrees of electric angle, making control possible in a wider operation range than ever.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
