<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing rotor for a centrifugal separator which suppresses sliding resistance during rocking of a bucket to eliminate poor swing. <P>SOLUTION: The swing rotor for the centrifugal separator has a plurality of arms 23A extended from an inner peripheral side to an outer peripheral side and a rotor body which holds two or more buckets of the same shapes for holding a sample so as to be able to rock at the facing arms. At the arm, a holding pin 25 for holding the bucket so as to be able to rock is arranged so as to extend in a tangential direction of a rotating direction of the rotor body. Two engaging parts supported by the holding pin are formed at the bucket and the engaging parts are journaled by the holding pins. At the holding pin, a sliding surface 25A is formed so that an axial direction width L1 of a contacting region when rocking of the bucket stops and an axial direction width L2 of the contacting region when the bucket rocks to a horizontal position by centrifugal separation operation are not constant. For example the axial direction width of the contacting region when rocking of the bucket stops is made to be shorter than the axial direction width of the contacting region when the bucket swings. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
