<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate to which position in internal organs a sectional image obtained by contact of an ultrasonic probe corresponds, on a display screen by using a schematic diagram (schema). <P>SOLUTION: Ultrasonic diagnostic equipment (110) includes: a transmitting and receiving probe (11) that transmits ultrasonic waves to a subject and that receives an echo signal from the subject; an image generating means (31) for generating an image indicating a tomogram of the subject, on the basis of the echo signal received by the transmitting and receiving probe; a storage means (20) for storing the schematic diagram of the subject's prescribed region, which comprises a plurality of segments; and a display means (50) for displaying the image generated by the image generating means and the schematic diagram stored in the storage means, in a juxtaposed manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
