<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bond an anode foil or a cathode foil and a lead terminal with high bond strength. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor comprises a metal foil composed of a valve metal, a lead terminal connected with the metal foil, an electrolytic solution in which the metal foil is immersed, and an exterior body in which the metal foil and the electrolytic solution are contained while exposing a portion of the lead terminal. The lead terminal consists of a tub being welded to the metal foil and a lead extended from the tub.
